Renewable Energy Surveys

We have recently been involved with a number of renewable energy schemes around the UK. Ranging from setting out solar array pads to hundred acre plus topographic surveys for potential solar or wind schemes.

  • LTopographic surveys for solar arrays and wind farms.
  • LLarge multi acre topographic surveys for initial feasibility.
  • LSurveys aligned to Ordnance Survey (OSGB36).
  • LFast turnaround service available.
  • LSurvey service available across the UK.
  • LSurveys available as 2D, 3D and digital terrain models.

Sustainable and renewable energy

We have produced detailed topographic surveys of a diverse range of renewable energy sites as awareness of the need to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels increases.

We collect survey data using a combination of Leica Total Stations and GNSS equipment.

These large scale land surveys are used to produce a 3D Digital Terrain Model depicting the relief and contours of the site, in addition to the position and height of any surrounding infrastructure or trees.

Feasibility through to installation

We have also worked alongside energy companies to set out their project designs, such as wind turbine or solar array pads, on the ground.

Our land surveys enable our clients to take their sustainable energy projects from initial feasibility study, through to installation.
